Key Personnel
Jim Halley
Jim has been performing NDT in nuclear power and fossil plants, in chemical plants and refineries, on construction projects and in manufacturing and fabrication facilities since 1980. Jim has been involved in and performing AUT for over twenty years, with the past twelve being in phased array.
Jim holds ASNT Level III's in UT, PT, MT and VT, an API QUTE, an AWS CWI and numerous manual and automated UT certifications from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
Michael Beard
Michael holds a BS in Welding Engineering Technology from Texas A&M and an MS in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University. Michael has been an Engineering Technology Advisory Board member at Texas A&M since 1990 and has been instrumental in helping bring advanced NDT into the Engineering Technology Program curriculum.
Michael is a Professional Engineer and holds ASNT Level III's in UT, PT and MT and has an AWS CWI. Michael has designed AUT equipment and has been involved in AUT for seven years, including phased array.
